Romance/Romance featured the smallest cast of the season with just 5 performers, and was the only show of the summer season to feature a live band. This show was set in two acts with act 1 having a more traditional chamber jazz style. While keeping some of the same instrumentation and styles, act 2 modernized the score adding a pop and rock flair. This helped convey that the struggles of romance are experienced by those regardless of what time period they are in.
